Joel on software

I just finished reading Joel Spolsky’s new book, UI Design for Programmers.

I had read pieces of it on his website, but decided to pick up the print copy as well. It’s an excellent read. Joel writes in an entertaining style, with good use of real-world analogies to computer problems and loads of common sense.

I’d recommend at least reading it on the web, for any programmer, or even designer, types. The print version has a lot of additional visual support as well, so might be worth the $$$.
