DSL is back up. Seems my ISP is now Waymark.net. At least they’re still local. We’ll see how it goes.
Seems they bought out my ISP, and in the transition process Verizon failed to credit their payment against the old ISP’s circuit charges…thus the disconnect. They resolved the disconnect yesterday, but some configuration info was lost in the process…including mine. Once I contacted them, it was back up in 5 minutes.
Now, this would not have been so bad if I had heard it was going to transpire and knew who to contact with problems…so Waymark has inherited a ticked off customer. Not a good way to start a relationship. They did seem nice, at least.
