6 hours?
No way. Asher slept for 6 hours straight last night! They both ate around midnight, and we almost woke him up to feed him when Keegan was hungry around 4am, but he looked happy, so we left him. And he slept 2 more hours before waking up hungry. Wow. That [...]

Santa
We took Keegan and Asher up to the mall to have their picture taken with Santa Saturday morning. We went early to beat the rush, and it was pretty smooth in-and-out, we even got to shop some — the twin-gawking public was pretty restrained and didn’t bother us too much. They all have [...]

Harry Potter, the Movie
Saw Harry Potter on Friday afternoon. It was entertaining — but also left me a bit dry at times. There’s a lot missing from the book, but what was included was very true to it…to the point of distracting from its movie value, I think.
I’m really not sure how I would have reacted [...]

Turtles
For those who don’t know…I collect turtles. Mom got me one of these recently — it’s pretty cute, but really needs a volume control. But, I’m thinking what I really need is Flash, the robotic turtle.

Hot date
I’ve got a hot date this afternoon, with a total babe…my wife, Kt. It’s really my birthday celebration ( turned 33 on Wed. ), but the key is that it’s our first real chance to go out together since the twins arrived. Gran & Pappy are coming out to watch them for us [...]

Asher reflux
Asher has not been a happy camper lately. Very fussy, especially at night…periods of inconsolable screaming, lots of gas, spitting up. We decided to take him in to the pediatrician yesterday. You hear a lot about colic and unexplained fussiness, but we wanted to rule out any medical causes.
Glad we did. [...]

RE: Guinness in a bottle
Just to followup, these were a not that great. The pub draught cans are much better. The taste and carbonation were not as good in the bottle — and you have to drink these out of the bottle, which sucks. Half the fun of a good Guinness is pouring it and watching [...]

Babycenter
The Babycenter has to be one of the best content sites on the web, period. If you’ve had kids and use the Internet, I think you’ll agree. It’s a wonderful example for sites trying to address other subject matter to follow.

yellow tools
My sweetie got me my first yellow tool for my birthday.
A DeWalt 1/4 sheet orbital sander. Thanks, sweetie!
Now I guess I have to finish the mission-style ottoman I’ve been making for her. My crappy old sander has been my excuse for not finishing.
