Kung fu weekend
Guess it was a Kung Fu weekend…Seth watched Jackie Chan’s revisit of the genre, The Legend of Drunken Master, a mighty fine film — although I can’t agree with him about it being his best.
I was up early with the babies Sunday, so we watched Fist of Legend, one of Jet Li’s finest efforts in the classic Kung Fu movie form. It was quite good. Stylish bare-handed fight scenes…Jet’s usual cool blank stare in abundance. Kt woke up in time for the final fight, and wasn’t impressed…she thought it was completely silly and unbelievable — hmm, this from a person who watches All My Children religiously. Guess it’ll be all up to me to teach the boys about movies.
