Rock Star
We watched Rock Star last night. Pretty lame. See Almost Famous instead, if you haven’t.
I’m usually a sucker for music movies, but this one was too predictable, lame, and ridiculous to be tolerated. They really lost me early on with just plain insanely stupid things — like having characters carry on a [...]

RE: Sleep milestone
It was Asher’s turn last night…both Keegan and Asher slept though the night. That’s a first. Keegan’s been doing it pretty reliably now for a week and half — but Asher’s still been getting up for one feeding. Last night they both made it 10pm - 6am. Wow.

Welcome “no-name”
Jim Roepcke’s new son, “no-name” is here…a 10lb cutie, too. Congrats to the whole Roepcke clan. They say they’ll announce a name later today.

Timbuktu to the rescue
This story has been getting a bunch of pointers, but it’s so cool I can’t help but point to it, too. The short story — guy’s sister’s iMac gets stolen, iMac has Timbuktu remote access software on it, guy uses Timbuktu to pinpoint the stolen iMac when it’s connected to the Internet, downloads a [...]

My hair cuts
Reviewing logs is fun. Today I discovered my hair cuts are the second most appropriate link for the Google search "Hair cut picture"..

The pub detecting watch
Excellent use of technology. A wristwatch with a GPS, dedicated to letting you know when you are close to a pub.

Baby shots
Took the day off yesterday, and we made another attempt at getting pictures taken of the twins. Our first effort didn’t go so well.
This time went a little better, and we did get one acceptable shot…they looked so cute in their flannel shirts and jeans. Just like their Dad.
It’s amazing how they [...]

Wireless here I come…
I ordered a NetGear wireless access point yesterday. I’ll finally be free to roam about my house and still access the Internet. This will provide great opportunities to be more productive, that is, if I can keep Kt off the TiBook. I hope her new iMac comes soon!

RE: Dang Dogs.
I’ve written before about our dog problems…unfortunately, it just keeps getting worse — mainly for Happyman, our larger shepard-mix 3 year-old.
The poor guy is a sight right now. He tore another dew claw…very badly this time, right up to the root. Due to the fact that he had mangled the other one just [...]

American Pie 2
We watched American Pie 2 last night. Very funny. Not quite as funny as the first, but still very good. Kt and I are suckers for stupid comedies, so it’s no surprise we liked it.

Working on Saturday
Working on Saturday sucks. Recompiling whole ERP solutions sucks. Installing VPNs sucks. The homemade biscotti my neighbor brought over yesterday are quite good, however.

Airport
I have an Airport card in my TiBook now. Unfortunately, I still don’t have a base station…so it doesn’t do me a whole lot of good. Soon though. Soon.

Terps lose
Well, the big game didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. Oh well, maybe next time…it was a good game though.
