It was a busy weekend. We went out to the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival on Saturday, and hung out with friends, watched great music and tried to keep the babies cool in the shade…over all they did great, but definitely the heat got to them after awhile ( argh, and it’s only starting to get hot around here! ).
On Sunday, we made a trip out to Kt’s folks. We picked up some slate tile we had seen on clearance out that direction to install on our fireplace next week — and took the twins in to the portrait studio for 6 month pix. They did much better than they did at their 3 month pix, but it’s still quite a feat to get them both smiling for the camera at the same time. We didn’t much like the person taking the photos either, oh well. We did get a couple of really cute shots.
It’s fun to be able to get around and do stuff with the babies…I hope the summer doesn’t put too much of a damper on that. It’s hard to tell what they think of all the new sights and sounds, but I’m sure it’s making an impression just the same.
