Royal Tennenbaums
We watched The Royal Tennebaums Friday night. I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I dosed off a couple of times during it for brief periods ( twins can be exhausting sometimes ), but I don’t really feel like I missed much.
There weren’t really many LOL moments for a comedy, but the world that it [...]

Come and Get it!
A new movie on the babies page. This is a great clip I got tonight of Asher crawling across the new wood floor.

All-Star tie
I can’t say I watch baseball anymore. I still like going to games, but it’s become a pretty boring sport. The ultimate evidence of this happened last night when the All-Star Game was declared a tie and stopped after 11 innings. How lame is that?
They did it for the “player’s [...]

New picture
A really cute new picture on the babies page today…of Keegan and Asher standing! Yep, they still need a little support, but they stand. Boy they are growing. Outfits courtesy of Nana Sue ( my mom ).

What is Conversant?
That’s a difficult to answer question…which has been one of the central problems with Conversant gaining broader acceptance in the marketplace. People want easy to digest taglines that clearly define boundaries of what something is and isn’t. Conversant doesn’t lend itself to such limitations. This topic came up because the question was [...]

Janis Ian on music piracy
Lots of people have been pointing to this Janis Ian article regarding downloading music, piracy and it’s positive effect on artists. It a very well written and accurate piece…hopefully more people will ( particularly in the political arena ) will start to take note of the hood-winking the RIAA is trying to pull off. [...]

Sick
The boys and I are fighting a cold together this weekend. Argh…not the best way to spend a 4-day holiday weekend.
We’ve been very lucky, this is the first illness Keegan and Asher have gotten, and the worst seems past, just a lot of annoying running noses around here now. Luckily Kt doesn’t seem [...]

accesskey
I’ve been learning some neat tips from dive into mark recently. Today I added “accesskey” properties to several parts of this site, which define keyboard shortcuts ( Mozilla and Opera only ) — so now I can hit Alt-1 on windows, Ctrl-1 on Mac from anywhere in this site and be taken back to [...]

Emagic bought by Apple
Very interesting…Apple has acquired EMagic, makers of Logic Audio — one of the biggest Pro Audio applications on the market. I’ve been eagerly looking forward to OS X native Audio applications, which have been slow to arrive…and like EMagic’s apps.
I wonder if some sort of iMusicStudio app is in the works?
