Signs
We went to see Signs on Friday for Kt’s birthday. I was a bit let down. It was well written and had interesting direction…and had some really funny stuff we enjoyed in the first half, but it never really tied together in a satisfactory way — and the end was a real let down. Similar to the feeling I had about Unbreakable.
It also had a lot of Night of the Living Dead in it — dealing with a small fragment of people’s reaction to a worldwide crisis. The religious aspect were kind of odd and poorly handled…I understood the intent, but the execution of the idea left me hollow — perhaps I man of faith would have a different reaction ( although I think not ).
