Hope everyone has a great holiday. I’m off the rest of the week, and probably won’t be posting much, if any…I think they’ll be plenty of new toys to play with, so I’ll be occupied.

Fun with Cocoon

I’ve been reading Cocoon: Building XML Applications, an introduction to the Apache project’s Cocoon framework. I’m considering using it for delivery of documents at work…it’s fascinating, I think I may be hooked.

New family site

Well, after much effort to relocate all the content and attach appropriate meta-data, etc., our old Manila-based babies page has been transformed into a much better and more flexible Conversant-based family site.

Meteorologist

Gack!

I can’t turn around today without someone asking me a question at work! Guess I need to stop turning around.

RIP, Dee

Our former comptroller at work, Dee Curry, died Friday night. She was known as a little hard to work with by some around here, but I think that was only a reflection of her attention to detail. I always found her to be patient and helpful…and much of the accounting end of the [...]
