Unreal II, the Awakening

I started playing Unreal II last night. Holy cow this game looks good. To a fault, actually, because I’m having to crank down the texture details and turn off all the extra rendering features to get a decent frame rate on a P4-M 1.4Mhz laptop w/ 64 meg ATI 7500 graphics. This does not bode well for my ability to play Doom III with my current hardware! I need one of these!

I’m not very far into the game yet, but the AI seems better than expected, too. Should be a fun one.

I just finished Unreal II (yes, I’m at work…I play on my lunch hour sometimes!). Great game…visuals are stunning. The game play wasn’t quite as good as Wolfenstein, but it was very good, and the storyline was better. Highly recommended.
