Loved it! Didn’t make any sense, but luckily I’ve never thought that was a requirement for a good movie…visually brilliant!

That’s OK, I’ll stick to the sanctioned versions.

Beside, it I watched it too many times, I’d probably start wanting it to make sense. ;-)

Oops! - I’ll send it again with text shall I?

I’ve been able to find a copy on winmx as a full .avi file in a divx format. I’ve got 82% downloaded, but can’t preview it, which seems a bit strange !!! I’ve downloaded all the divx codecs from ACE, but still doesn’t work. I’ve anyone can provide me with a download link (I do have ADSL), then I would be very grateful !! Or, if anyone can tell me where I may be going wrong, then I’ll continue to download the last 18% from winmx !

    Thanks !!

Could everyone please stop posting about the illegal distribution of movies on my website!!!!

I’d rather not have to delete this thread for historical purposes, but I don’t participate in or condone the illegal distribution of copyrighted material. Just wait for the darn thing to come out and buy it! Or better yet, rent it.

All that hassle to save what, $8 for a movie people have been waiting
over 4 years to see? I don’t understand why anyone would spend so much
time and energy to download a movie that’s currently playing on
thousands, if not tens of thousands of big screens (with amazing sound)
worldwide. Unless you’re a shut-in, in quarantine, have a compulsive
disorder or maybe a phobia that precludes you from enjoy a movie in a
theatre, I do not understand the rationale.

If he and a friend had saved a penny a day since the previous movie
came out they would have had more than enough to see the movie
together, share theatre popcorn and a drink, get there by public
transit, and have money left over.

Instead, people spend upwards of $1,000 on computer equipment,
services, and hours of their life they can never get back, in order to
afford them the opportunity to steal the movie and watch it with
reduced resolution, compression artifacts, and lower fidelity sound on
a screen around 5% of the size of the one in the theatre.

    Morons.

    i totally agree with you.

i don’t get the compulsion to own movies at all really, especially crappy rips. i guess i don’t re-watch them that much, and even if i did, the rental store is right down the street. there was a time i collected a number of odd-ball old horror films on video, but at that time most of these would be shown on AMC in the middle on the night, and were not even available on video to buy or rent. thus it seemed necessary to have a copy around in case. it’s never going to be hard to see The Matrix Reloaded. in a year you’ll be able buy the DVD for $14.99 or less at Target.

what’s most crazy to me is that the people i’ve known who feel compelled to have DIVX rips of things, feel the need to get everything they can get their hands on — regardless of whether they even like the movie — and never throw anything away once they get it…thus filling up many, many hard drives with crap they’ll never watch.

    it’s just kind of odd.
