The second pictured worst album cover, “12 top hits” is the cover of one
of the first lp records I owned, gotten the same week I got my first “hi
fi” as a teenager. As I recall, it included such hits as “Purple People
Eater” and “Love Potion Number Nine.”
Those covers may be bad, but for many it is just that they are just dated,
produced at a time right before record jackets were just that (before they
became art).
