Why is that? “Plan A” is contraception, they’ve been talking about it on NPR for days.
What bothers you about the name “Plan B”?

Honestly, I can’t put my finger on it. I think it has something to do
with the implications for other stages in the process.
Would partial-birth abortion be “Plan H” or something like that?
Abstinence would be “Plan -A”?
