Lawn mowing
I mowed the lawn at our new house for the first time last night. Actually, I had mowed the front yard once already, but this was the first time I’d done the whole thing. The experience differed somewhat from the mowing experience at our old house, in that there was grass involved — not just sticks, leaves and dirt.
Somewhere around the 20th trip back and forth across the length of the backyard, the virtues of a lawn service started to be revealed to me a vision. I think we’re going to have to get some quotes. Time is just so short these days, I’d rather spend it making improvements to the yard, rather than just maintaining.
