The TV

It seems that I may be the only one around our house who doesn’t think we need a bigger TV right now. Which, I guess is odd. Isn’t it usually the “dad” that wants to buy those new toys? Katie came home from looking at some open houses in the neighborhood yesterday and said, “Our TV is really small. I saw some really big TVs in those houses.” And if that isn’t bad enough, the other day Asher (2 yrs, 9mos! ) was watching TV and said to me, “Our TV’s not very good.” Oy.

Of course, I am probably the only guy around who got the fully networked TiVO, nice home theater stereo and DVD player, and still has the junky old 27″ TV in the middle of it all. I was wanting a new TV for a while there because I was having trouble reading the TiVO guide — but then I just realized I needed glasses!.

I wouldn’t say our TV is “junky”. It has a decent picture. It’s just
pretty small by today’s standards. Not a bad TV. Now the picture
could be digital, that would be cool! ;-)
