In the end, it was only space.
Just wasted three hours troubleshooting the virus scanning setup on my mail server, because it wasn’t properly passing files through ClamAV. The problem was a single space at the end of a line in a config file, that messed up the regex for the rule that was being executed. Argh!
While it’s nice that it turned out to be such a simple solution, it’s annoying to have wasted that much time.
