- 8 Avant Jazz LPs, Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, more: These are some the great pieces of 60s “Free Jazz” — very experimental and improvisation. Very challenging music, this ain’t no Dave Brubeck.
- 5 Roots Reggae LPs, Burning Spear, Culture, more: Very rootsy stuff. Includes my favorite Culture record, and the Meditions, two of the finest vocal harmony trios to come out of the Reggae scene.
