Interestingly, after spending a little more time looking over the apache logs on my hijacked proxy, it appears that about 80% of the traffic was from a small number spammers who discovered the open proxy and the other 20% was traffic using the proxy to spoof ad-clicks to many of the major ad servers (though none to Google, they must be to smart for that).
