Wow! Some good news for my TiVo stock. I’m not entirely sure it’s really great news for TiVo. Despite 2/3rds of their subscribers coming via DirecTV, only 10% of their revenues do, and I expect that Comcast negotiated similar if not better terms for their deal. At least is sounds like the TiVo’s that Comcast will use will not be crippled like DirecTV’s.
