RSS advertising

More Dave Winer weirdness. Content providers will add advertising to any new medium that comes out. Just like they added it to newspapers, radio, tv and websites, they will add it to RSS. Of course, DW thinks it’s a good idea for people to write RSS reader software that strips out the ads that the content provider has chosen to include in there output, but it’s a bad idea for Google to alter his output with autolinks. Maybe substracting is OK, but adding isn’t? I wonder about division and multiplication?
