NBC to stop trying to annoy DVR owners
NBC’s going to stop shifting programs by a few minutes this Fall. I hope the other networks follow suit. It’s just plain annoying. Of course, if the other networks don’t follow suit, this does me little good, because I don’t think I watch anything on NBC.

Mail.app IMAP chunk size
Anyone know if there is a way to set the chunk size Mail.app uses when fetching IMAP messages, and/or disable chunking like you can in Thunderbird?
The default behavior is really poor for attachments, because it fetches small amounts of data at a time — like 4k per request — generating a lot of unnecessary connection [...]
