4 years in the making

ottoman.jpg

It’s not so much that it took that long, but there’s been long gaps between efforts. The mission ottoman I started on about 4 years ago is finally done and in use in our family room. The woodworking has been done for about 2 years. The finish has been done for about a year…and Katie finally did the upholstery today.

I do enjoy woodworking. Wish I had more time to spend on it. I hope the new cover for our doorbell chime I started on 3 months ago will be done before I’m 40.

It’s been more like five years. We’ve had our furniture that long.
And it hasn’t been finished for a year either. Maybe six months.
Don’t want anyone to thing I was really holding up the project! It
is pretty comfy though. . .
