WinRot

My laptop has been in the throws of WinRot for several months now, but I finally decided I can’t take it anymore. Since I’m a bit short on disk space, too, I ordered a new 100 gig Toshiba laptop drive with a 16meg cache. When it gets here I’ll start the terribly unproductive process of reinstalling everything I use on a nice clean Windows XP installation. Then hope I don’t have to repeat this process in the next year. Did I mention how much I like Windows? I sure hope in a couple of years I’ll be able to have a nice spanking Intel-based Powerbook that can run Windows in some sort of VirtualPC-like windowed app at native speeds.
