Java on Intel Macs

I haven’t heard anyone mention the fact that in addition to the already Universal apps that have been released, it appears that Java-based apps will also see an immediate benefit from the speed boost on the new Intel Macs. That’s the word on the Servoy boards, which is a pretty large-scale Swing UI java app. I assume Eclipse, Oxygen XML and some of the other Java apps that I currently prefer to run on Windows strictly for performance reasons will also see these benefits immediately…after all, they run on the JVM and the JVM is native.
