Tele-not-communications
As a person responsible for the phones and cellphones of a business, I would like to say that if any telecommunications company can get their act together and provide something vaguely resembling good customer service, they have my business.
I’ve been switching from Sprint to Cingular for our “executive” phone accounts. It’s been relatively smooth, but they still shipped several wrong phones, and I had to go through hoops to get the numbers ported.
Our Nextel account rep offered me a new plan last month to save money. Ok, great. What happens? I end up with 3 new phones I never wanted or ordered and they can’t figure out how to get returned…and my bill jumped up $1000 this month, because they totally screwed up the implementation of the new plans.
Totally a waste of my time. Totally.
