RailsConf: Thursday morning
First half of the Guidebook session today concentration on Ruby. Some of it was a bit basic, so I wrote code for that part. The second half of it was great though and help me clarify some of the ways Ruby handles class/modules/mix-ins.
The afternoon session is about to start up, and will focus on Rails. Looking forward to it.
Met Seth for breakfast, as he noted, it was like sitting down with an old friend. Which it was. I’m glad his luggage finally made it.

The Bumpy Trip to Chicago…
So far, it’s been a bumpy trip. In fact, the flight was the only part that wasn’t bumpy! Checking in to the airport in Providence went smoothly, though I have to say the pseudo-security is just ridiculous. It is as if they’ve designed the system to …
