RailsConf: Saturday

Long days at RailsConf. Very long. I’ve been a bit dissapointed by the lack of technical information in the sessions, but have still remained engaged. Evan Z’s deployment talk was excellent, however. As were Mike Clark’s Testing and DHH’s general keynote in the evening.

In between things I’ve managed to chip away some code on my ticketing app, as well. Won’t quite be ready to deploy Monday as I had hoped, but it’s getting there.

The conference in general has been very useful to me, reflecting on some of the things going on in my professional career and where I really want to head. Clarifying for me what some of the things I really enjoy are. More on that later, however.
