Independence day announcement

“Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.”
–Albert Einstein

This has been in the works for several weeks, but it has been hush-hush at the office until yesterday so I was keeping my mouth shut. I’ve turned in notice at my job and will be working for myself consulting/entrepeneuring come September.

I’m exciting about the flexibility this will bring, as well as the opportunities. Luckily, I’m in a position with my current employer to continue to keep them as my main client which should significantly ease the pain of the transition.

I will post more details about what I’ll be doing as I get my business materials and website together, but I do, at least have a logo and stub site up (thanks to Jamie for the design help!).

Giant congratulations, Greg. I think this will be a good move for you: your technical expertise combined with your affability and good communication skills will make you popular with your clients, I expect.

Very much looking forward to seeing how this pans out!
