Prehistoric Park is a very cool new 6-part series, courtesy of the BBC, running on Animal Planet right now. Imagine “Walking with the Dinosaurs”, crossed with “The Little Zoo That Could” and “Stargate.”
It’s played as a straight documentary, featuring the specimen acquisition and housing travails of a Zoo which happens to have a time portal, which they use to gather animals nearly extinction in the distant past. Great fun.
