Servoy Alliance Network
After taking on another large Servoy project, I decided it would be wise to go ahead and join the Servoy Alliance Network as a developer.
The 3.5 beta is out and moving forward with a lot of great additions, particularly to make it easier to move logic down to the data model and out of the forms, which make me very happy. It’s still not perfect, but it’s incredibly productive for an individual application developer doing db backend apps — particularly that have to integrate with other applications/dbs.
I must admit, the amount of attention they are putting into the web-client version is a little lost on me, but I understand that it’s attractive to a lot of people and the AJAX integration they are doing makes it a lot more powerful.

Table level onInsert/onUpdate/onDelete events. Field validators, friendly names, default formats on columns. Stuff like that. greg.
