Reproducing your childhood

The persistence and availability of media creates interesting challenges for today’s parent. Yes, you’ve got to ask interesting questions about yourself, your parenting style and your goals for your children when you find yourself considering adding the entire first season of Land of the Lost to your NetFlix queue.

Such is the position I found myself in recently. Am I looking to reproduce my childhood experiences for my boys? Do I really just want to watch these myself? Am I secretly trying to scare my wife out of the TV room? (just kidding, sweetie!)

I don’t know. I have no answers. I do, however, have Land of the Lost in my Netflix queue. :-)
