Servoy 4 preview release
The Servoy 4 public preview is now available. It’s a huge upgrade, at least from the developer point of view, as the whole development environment has been moved to Eclipse. Along with that come a great deal of productivity improvements in the editors, better version control support and many other new features.
I’ve been using v4 in closed beta for a while now. It’s still a little rough around the edges here and there, but is coming along great. Clearly the engineering team at Servoy is working hard.
If you develop database applications, give it a try. I’ve found it to be an incredibly productive environment which is much more flexible and extendable than it’s competition.
