Long days at RailsConf. Very long. I’ve been a bit dissapointed by the lack of technical information in the sessions, but have still remained engaged. Evan Z’s deployment talk was excellent, however. As were Mike Clark’s Testing and DHH’s general keynote in the evening.

I gave up on the hotel wireless. I got just enough love from the WiFi to find the instructions I needed to setup my Treo as a bluetooth modem, so now I’m on my own connection, as needed. Whohoo!

RailsConf: Wed. night

Wednesday night was slow. I took a long walk around the neighborhood. Seth’s luggage was lost, so didn’t hook up with him. And by the time a took another sweep downstairs trolling for socialability, the horde of powerbooks had been scattered by the onslaught of Senior Singles night at the hotel bar.
